- Draw up 2mL sterile diluent (bacteriostatic water).
- Inject diluent into powder vial slowly along the side of the vial.
- Gently roll — do not shake.
- Ensure the medication is clear and fully dissolved.
- Draw up your desired dose and inject subcutaneously.
- The concentration of the mixture will be 2.5mg/mL when 2mL bac water has been added.
